Hello everyone,

Many of you may not or may be aware that my mother lost her husband and we lost our wonderful father to this cruel disease (only seems like yesterday)

I have been thinking about doing something like this for quite sometime and only until recently I have decided to bite the bullet and go for it. Dad was and always will be my best mate. He is always in my thoughts and by completing this I hope I can give another patient and the community overall an opportunity for more effective treatment. 

From the 9th of May 2015, I will be undertaking a challenging trek in Peru through the Andes mountain range. The last few days of this trek I will join the High Inca Trail which will end with a view of Machu Picchu.

This will be a challenging experience for me, all of which I will document, update you all on my progress and hopefully complete!

Unfortunately many of us have been affected  (1 in 3 Australians) in some way by cancer and by sponsoring me you will be investing in cancer research. $50 funds one hour of research, $1,900 funds one week, $8,300 funds one month and $100,000 funds one year of vital cancer research.
